I am currently a research scientist at SSL, UC Berkeley. I received my Ph.D. in physics at the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2018 working with Jim Miller, and before coming to SSL was a postdoc at LSU. In my previous research, I focused on studying gamma-ray production and particle acceleration in thunderclouds.
Currently, I focus on particle acceleration in impulsive and gradual solar flares, Ultra High Energy Cosmic-rays, and detector development for neutrons, charged particles, and gamma-ray detection. I use data from Parker Solar Probe and Fermi Gamma-ray Telescope to study solar flares. Moreover, I work on multiple gamma-ray experiments such as the Compton Spectrometer and Imager (COSI), Gamma-Ray Imager/Polarimeter for Solar Flares (GRIPS), and Advanced Particle-astrophysics Telescope (APT).
