Orlando is a third year graduate student in the Earth and Planetary Science Department at UC Berkeley. He is working with Dr. Davin Larson and the SPAN team on Parker Solar Probe to study solar wind electron scattering mechanisms near the Sun. Orlando is also working with Dr. Larson on the Space Weather Follow On Lagrange 1 (SWFO-L1) mission, specifically the SupraThermal Ion Sensor (STIS) instrument.
