I am interested in high-energy emission from the Sun, such as x-rays and gamma-rays. To this end, I am involved with the detector characterization for the GRIPS high-altitude balloon instrument, and spend time using data from observatories like RHESSI, SO/STIX, and EOVSA to probe questions of particle acceleration in solar flares.
