I am an experimental space plasma physicist specializing in interactions between the solar wind and Earth’s magnetosphere, processes that ultimately provide energy supply for the aurora and space weather hazards. More specifically, I study large-scale and microphysical properties of magnetic reconnection, an energy conversion process important in space, astrophysical, and laboratory plasmas, using in-situ spacecraft observations from NASA’s THEMIS/ARTEMIS, MMS, and TRACERS missions.
