Lucas is an Assistant Research Scientist working at the Space Sciences Laboratory at the University of California, Berkeley. He received his Undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in 2014, and his Doctorate degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2018. Using a wide variety of techniques from modeling to data analysis, Lucas studies the interaction of plasma with multiple bodies throughout the solar system, including Earth’s Moon and other outer-planet bodies.
