Supper with a Space Scientist: SSL Zoom talks for Students

Last month, SSL kicked off a series of monthly Zoom talks for local community college students intended to raise awareness about SSL and space science careers.

These talks are held from 7-8pm on the second Thursday of each month and focus on real and exciting research projects in space science, as well as what it means to have a career in space science. Each talk is followed by a Q&A with speakers, all of whom are scientists, engineers or students at the lab. The talks are at an appropriate level for anyone interested in space science, including those with little prior experience in physics, astronomy, or engineering.
