This may be our last post about the Van Allen Probes as eaerlier this summer one of the probes ran out of fuel and was turned off and the second probe, will likely have the same fate in the coming month.
There has been seven years of tremendous science gleaned from the two satellites and we at the U.C. Berkeley – Space Sciences Lab have been proud to have contributed the EFW Instrument Suite to both spacecraft, Four Axial Booms, Eight Spin Plane Booms, Electronics modules to control our instruments and gather our data
