Kristie Boering

Biography

Kristie Boering is a professor in the Departments of Chemistry and of Earth and Planetary Science and a member of the US National Academy of Sciences. Her research at UC Berkeley combines chemistry and atmospheric science to study the isotopic composition of long-lived gases in the atmosphere. She is the PI on several NASA grants to study the stratospheric ozone layer and to deploy whole air samplers on high altitude research aircraft and balloons.
