Experienced aerospace engineer with decades of work writing software for scientific satellite and ground-based systems, including GSE, Integration & Test, Mission Operations, and science pipeline analysis. Additional expertise in operations and production optimization software for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

Currently working on the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI), responsible for the software which enables 5000 robots to move optical fibers to new targets every 20 minutes, and the environmental controls inside the DESI focal plane enclosure. DESI results indicate that, unexpectedly, Dark Energy has changed over cosmic time.
