Andreas Zoglauer

Andreas Zoglauer works at the intersection of astrophysics, instrumentation development, data science, and computer science. He leads the development of MEGAlib, an open-source toolkit for the simulation, calibration, reconstruction, and data analysis of gamma-ray instrumentation in space and on ground. He received his PhD from the Technische Universität München for his work on data analysis tools for
next-generation gamma-ray telescopes. Andreas is currently the Project Scientist and pipeline development lead for the Compton Spectrometer and Imager, COSI. Over the course of his career, he has contributed to the design, development, calibration, simulation, and/or data analysis of a wide range of past, current, and proposed hard X-ray and gamma-ray telescopes, including MEGA, ACT, NuSTAR, COMPTEL, GRI, GRIPS, NCT/COSI, HEMI, ComPair/AMEGO, e-ASTROGAM/new-ASTROGAM, GECCO/GALE, and ARCTIS.
