Ruth Borrud is a Quality and Mission Assurance Engineer at UC Berkeley’s Space Science Lab. She has more than 10 years of experience leading inspections, controlling nonconformances, and performing failure analysis for NASA and commercial space programs. Prior to SSL, she managed destructive physical analysis and supplier quality at Lockheed Martin and Blue Origin. Ruth’s expertise in inspection leadership, corrective actions, and technical training supports SSL’s mission of delivering reliable, high-quality hardware for groundbreaking space science.
