OVERVIEW OF SSL
The SSL campus consists of three buildings: The Silver Lab (original building), the Addition (new building) and the Annex.

FROM SAN FRANCISCO AIRPORT
This is an overview of directions from SFO (San Francisco International Airport) to SSL. Detailed directions.
The red square on maps highlights a tricky part. When going through the Caldecott tunnel (CA 24 East) you must go through the right most bore/tunnel and the be in the right hand lane of the right hand bore, and then take the very first exit, just out of the tunnel (see below).
FROM THE OAKLAND AIRPORT
This is an overview of directions from OAK (Oakland International Airport) to SSL. Detailed directions.

BART and BUS (weekdays only)
The University runs shuttle buses Monday through Friday from the Berkeley BART Station (P line) to Hearst Mining Circle on the main campus (near Evans Hall), and then from Hearst Mining Circle (H line) to the Space Sciences Laboratory (SSL). Contact the UC Berkeley Parking and Transportation office for questions about the schedule for the (H line) Hill Service Shuttle or general UC Berkeley transit info, including schedules for the P and RFS lines.
PARKING
Parking for visitors is available with a daily permit that will be provided by your host. (Parking enforcement is ruthless.)
